HID credentials

Trusted credentials. smarter access.

As access environments evolve, organisations need a credential strategy that supports existing HID infrastructure while creating a clear path to newer technologies. IDCUBE supports HID Seos, iCLASS SE, iCLASS, HID Proximity, and Seos-powered HID Mobile Access, with options including smart cards, key fobs, adhesive tags, multi-technology credentials, and mobile IDs. This gives security teams the flexibility to align credentials with installed readers, security requirements, user needs, and migration plans.

Within Access360, supported HID credentials are associated with user identities and governed through assigned door, zone, and schedule permissions. Organisations can retain compatible HID infrastructure while progressively adopting Seos and mobile credentials as their access strategy advances.

HID credential portfolio

Choose from HID iCLASS credentials designed for established reader environments, mixed-technology deployments, and different user requirements. IDCUBE supports card, key-fob, adhesive-tag, clamshell, and dual-technology options across compatible HID access-control systems
HID iCLASS 200x
Flexible 13.56 MHz smart card for established iCLASS environments. The HID iCLASS 200x supports read/write contactless access, multiple memory configurations, and ISO-format card printing. Optional magnetic stripe, barcode, and visual security features support different identification and access requirements.
HID iCLASS 202x + Prox Card

Dual-technology credential for mixed iCLASS and Proximity environments. The HID iCLASS 202x + Prox combines 13.56 MHz iCLASS with 125 kHz HID Proximity in one ISO-thickness card, helping organisations maintain existing Prox compatibility while introducing iCLASS technology.

HID iCLASS 205x Key II
Compact iCLASS access in a durable key-fob format. The HID iCLASS 205x Key II uses 13.56 MHz contactless technology and supports multiple memory configurations. Its portable design suits users who need convenient access without carrying a photo ID card.
HID iCLASS 206x Tag
Easy credential upgrade without replacing the existing badge. The HID iCLASS 206x Tag is a small adhesive 13.56 MHz credential that adds iCLASS functionality to compatible non-metallic cards or surfaces, supporting migration from magnetic stripe, barium ferrite, or proximity credentials.
HID iCLASS 2080 Clamshell Card
Durable iCLASS credential for high-use access environments. The HID iCLASS 2080 Clamshell Card combines a sturdy ABS shell with 13.56 MHz contactless technology. It provides 2K-bit read/write memory, two application areas, and a slot-punched form for convenient badge or lanyard use.

Why HID credentials?

IDCUBE supports HID credential technologies across Seos, iCLASS SE, iCLASS, HID Proximity, multi-technology cards, and HID Mobile Access. This gives organisations a practical way to support existing HID reader estates, strengthen credential security where required, and plan technology migration without disrupting day-to-day access.

Which HID credential is right for your environment?

Choose the HID credential that best fits your installed reader base, security requirements, migration plans, and preferred access experience, from established iCLASS and Proximity technologies to Seos and HID Mobile Access.

    Benefits

    Right Credential

Match credential technology to the readers already installed, the security level required, and how different users access the facility. HID Seos, iCLASS SE, iCLASS, Proximity, multi-technology credentials, and supported mobile IDs cover both established and newer HID environments.

    Stronger Security

Use HID Seos where stronger credential protection is required. Seos combines modern cryptography, mutual authentication, secure messaging, and SIO-based protection of identity data.

    Centralised Access Management

Keep HID credentials tied to the right users and permissions. Access360 links supported credentials with user identities and assigned access rights across doors, areas, and facilities.

    Multi-Application Support

Reduce the need for separate credentials where the deployment supports multiple applications. Supported Seos and iCLASS SE configurations can carry physical access alongside other approved identity applications.

    Existing HID Compatibility

Continue using compatible HID Proximity, iCLASS, and iCLASS SE reader environments while planning the transition to newer credential technology. This helps protect existing infrastructure investment during modernisation.

    Multiple Form Factors

Give users a credential that suits the way they work. HID credential families include cards, clamshell credentials, key fobs, adhesive tags, multi-technology cards, and supported mobile IDs.

    Migration Flexibility

Upgrade readers and credentials in stages rather than replacing the entire compatible estate at once. HID multi-technology credentials are specifically designed to bridge Proximity, iCLASS, and Seos environments during migration.

    Mobile-Ready Access

Introduce smartphone access alongside physical credentials in compatible Seos environments, giving organisations a practical path towards HID Mobile Access without changing the credential strategy all at once.
