UHF credentials

Long-range credentials for smarter vehicle access

IDCUBE UHF credentials are designed for long-range vehicle identification at parking areas, industrial sites, campuses, and controlled vehicle entrances. The ASSA portfolio includes ASSA Flex for windscreen mounting, ASSA Flex HL for headlight mounting, ASSA PVC as a portable card or keychain credential, and ASSA Dual for deployments that require both vehicle and door access.

Used with compatible IDCUBE long-range readers such as IDLR-06 and IDLR-12, the UHF credentials support vehicle identification without close-range card presentation. ASSA Dual combines UHF with HF MIFARE Classic or DESFire technology, enabling one physical card to work with compatible long-range vehicle readers and HF door readers. Read distance varies by credential type, reader, mounting method, and installation conditions.

UHF credential portfolio

Choose the ASSA UHF credential that fits how vehicle access is managed at your site, from fixed windscreen and headlight labels to portable cards and a dual-technology option for vehicle and door access.

ASSA Flex

A passive UHF RFID label for windscreen-mounted vehicle identification. ASSA Flex comes pre-encoded with a unique 26-bit identifier and is available in tamper-proof and non-tamper-proof variants. The tamper-proof version is designed to become permanently non-functional if removal is attempted after installation.

ASSA Flex HL

A passive UHF RFID label designed specifically for vehicle headlights. ASSA Flex HL is tamper-proof, pre-encoded with a unique 26-bit identifier, and designed to be damaged and rendered non-functional if removed after installation.

ASSA PVC

A portable passive UHF RFID credential for vehicle owners and drivers. ASSA PVC is available as a PVC card or keychain credential, comes pre-encoded with a unique 26-bit identifier, and works with compatible IDCUBE IDLR-06 and IDLR-12 long-range readers.

ASSA Dual

A dual-technology smart card for vehicle and door access. ASSA Dual combines passive UHF RFID for compatible long-range readers with 13.56 MHz HF technology available in MIFARE Classic and DESFire EV1 variants. This allows one card to support compatible vehicle identification and door access.

    Benefits of UHF credentials

    Easier Vehicle Entry

Help authorized vehicles move through parking areas and controlled gates without stopping for close-range card presentation, using ASSA UHF credentials with compatible IDCUBE long-range readers.

    Better User Fit

Choose the credential around how access actually works at the site. ASSA Flex and Flex HL stay with the vehicle, while ASSA PVC can remain with the driver.

    Vehicle Association

Use the tamper-proof ASSA Flex variant or ASSA Flex HL when the credential needs to remain tied to a specific vehicle and discourage transfer between vehicles.

    Lower Maintenance

ASSA UHF credentials use passive RFID technology, so the credential itself requires no battery or routine battery replacement during normal use.

    Portable Access

Choose ASSA PVC when a permanently mounted windscreen or headlight credential is not practical. Card and keychain formats give drivers a removable UHF access option.

    Unified Access

Use ASSA Dual where one credential needs to serve both the vehicle gate and the building. It combines UHF with MIFARE Classic or DESFire for compatible readers.
