UHF credentials

Long-range credentials for efficient vehicle access

IDCUBE UHF credentials support long-range RFID identification for vehicle access at parking facilities, corporate campuses, logistics entrances, and controlled vehicle gates. The portfolio includes ASSA Flex for windshield mounting, ASSA Flex HL for headlight mounting, ASSA PVC in portable card or keychain formats, and ASSA Dual for combined vehicle and door access.

With compatible IDCUBE long-range readers such as IDLR-06 and IDLR-12, organizations can select the credential format that fits how the vehicle or user moves through the site. ASSA Dual combines UHF with HF MIFARE Classic or DESFire technology, allowing one card to work across compatible long-range vehicle readers and HF door readers. Read distance varies with the credential, reader, mounting position, and site conditions.

UHF credential portfolio

Choose the ASSA UHF credential around the vehicle-access workflow, mounting preference, and reader environment, with options for fixed vehicle identification, portable access, and combined vehicle and building entry.

ASSA Flex

A passive UHF RFID label designed for windshield-mounted vehicle identification. It is pre-encoded with a unique 26-bit identifier and available in tamper-proof and non-tamper-proof variants. The tamper-proof version is designed to become permanently non-functional if removed.

ASSA Flex HL

A passive, tamper-proof UHF RFID credential designed for vehicle headlights. The label is pre-encoded with a unique 26-bit identifier and is designed to be damaged and rendered non-functional if removal is attempted.

ASSA PVC

A portable passive UHF RFID credential offered in PVC card and keychain formats. It gives drivers a removable credential option and works with compatible IDCUBE IDLR-06 and IDLR-12 long-range readers.

ASSA Dual

A dual-technology smart card combining passive UHF RFID with 13.56 MHz HF technology. MIFARE Classic and DESFire EV1 variants are available, allowing the same card to support compatible long-range vehicle readers and HF door readers.

    Benefits of UHF credentials

    Easier Vehicle Entry

Help authorized vehicles move through parking facilities and controlled gates without close-range card presentation by using ASSA UHF credentials with compatible IDCUBE long-range readers.

    Better User Fit

Select the credential around the access workflow. ASSA Flex and Flex HL stay with the vehicle, while ASSA PVC provides a portable option for the driver.

    Vehicle Association

Use the tamper-proof ASSA Flex variant or ASSA Flex HL when the credential should remain associated with a specific vehicle and discourage transfer to another vehicle.

    Lower Maintenance

ASSA UHF credentials operate with passive RFID technology, so the credential itself does not need a battery or routine battery replacement.

    Portable Access

Choose ASSA PVC when permanent windshield or headlight mounting is not suitable. Its card and keychain formats provide a removable credential for vehicle access.

    Unified Access

Use ASSA Dual when the same card needs to work at vehicle and building access points. It combines UHF with MIFARE Classic or DESFire for compatible readers.
