OpenHEX launch, Access360 Core, ezvisit10, and a connected physical access control ecosystem

IDCUBE participated in FSIE Mumbai 2026 from September 3 to 5 at the Jio World Convention Center, bringing its latest physical access control technologies to one of India’s key fire and security industry gatherings. Across three days, the IDCUBE booth became a space for live demonstrations, product discussions, and conversations with customers, consultants, system integrators, partners, and security professionals.

The event was especially significant for IDCUBE with the launch of OpenHEX, its flagship access controller. Visitors also experienced Access360 Core, the ezvisit10 visitor management kiosk, integrated reader technologies, and a wider open ecosystem designed to connect identities, devices, applications, and physical access workflows.

OpenHEX takes center stage

A major highlight at FSIE Mumbai 2026 was the launch of OpenHEX, IDCUBE’s flagship access controller. Displayed as part of the Access360 ecosystem, OpenHEX represented an important step in IDCUBE’s hardware innovation journey and complemented the company’s enterprise access control software and identity technologies.

The showcase helped visitors see the controller in its wider context. Modern access control is no longer only about a panel and a door. Controllers must operate as part of an interconnected environment that includes readers, credentials, enterprise systems, visitor workflows, alarms, and centralized security applications. The OpenHEX display demonstrated how controller hardware fits into that broader architecture.

Access360 Core in action

Access360 Core was another central focus of the booth. The live environment gave visitors a closer look at how a modern access control platform can bring doors, devices, identities, policies, alarms, and access events into a unified operational view.

Rather than presenting software in isolation, the demonstrations connected Access360 Core with physical readers and controllers. This helped make discussions around scalability, interoperability, and enterprise deployment more practical. For organizations managing complex facilities, the ability to work across different reader, controller, and credential technologies can be as important as the software interface itself.

The booth also highlighted the intelligence layer around Access360 Core, including AI-powered insights, risk analytics, and operational visibility. Together, these capabilities reflect IDCUBE’s direction toward access control that supports both day-to-day operations and better security decision-making.

ezvisit10 brings visitor journeys to life

Visitor management came to life through a working ezvisit10 kiosk setup. The demonstration showed how a visitor can interact with a self-service touchpoint as part of a connected visitor journey, while registration, host workflows, visitor credentials, and physical access remain managed by the wider system.

The setup included the HID Amico biometric facial recognition reader alongside the kiosk environment, helping visitors understand how identity verification and access technologies can be integrated into the experience. The demonstration also showed how digital check-in, approvals, QR-based visitor passes, and access control integration can help reduce manual reception steps without separating visitor experience from physical security.

One connected access ecosystem

Beyond the individual product demonstrations, FSIE provided an opportunity to show the broader Access360 ecosystem. IDCUBE demonstrated a mix of controllers, smart and biometric readers, visitor technology, mobile and QR credentials, and integration possibilities within a single physical access environment.

The open-platform display also reflected the importance of interoperability in large enterprises. Support for multiple reader and controller ecosystems, including technologies from HID, IDEMIA, Mercury, and Aero, gives organizations greater flexibility when modernizing existing infrastructure or planning new deployments. The aim is not to make every component identical, but to allow the security architecture to work together coherently.

Conversations beyond the demo

Some of the most valuable moments at FSIE were the conversations around the technology. Visitors brought real requirements to the booth, from multi-site access control and hardware interoperability to visitor experience, identity management, analytics, and modernization of existing security environments.

Those discussions reinforced a clear shift in the market. Organizations increasingly expect physical access control to be open, scalable, cyber-conscious, easier to operate, and capable of connecting with the systems already used across the enterprise. Live demonstrations made it possible to move those discussions from feature lists to practical deployment questions.
